The Loveliest Review was created from a wish. Literally.

Our editor-in-chief, Exodus, tweeted out into the world "EIC of "The Loveliest Review". A petite, hand-bound journal featuring 7 genres/artists (Poetry/CNF/Fiction/Play/Photography/Art/Lyrics). One issue in Dec. Sim Subs/Free to Sub. Paying, and every year I'd aim to up that amount. Thrilling. Magical. Celebratory. & a yearly THEME!"

Thusly reaching the most generous of eyes, and the excitement of her peers who would go on to make up the cohort of TLR's masthead. This origin is one that we're proud to share as it showcases the magnificence of small moments and what the support of the writing community can truly accomplish.

As a small publication, we are bound to champion smallness because at its most minuscule level, smallness is but a bigness made to fit the hands of those with the most grandeur of dreams. We hope that in sharing our origin, you may feel just as brave to wish your wishes loudly and lovingly.
